Foster Parenting is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. Good intentions will not take you far. You need tools; this is not a playground you have entered. These are real kids, children and families in crisis. You will get mad, sick, you will be exhausted and think you are not being treated fairly by the state. You will think the state is not being fair to the child and many times you will work with a system that moves at the speed of a turtle.
